I am working on an adventure map that involves keys that you can place down on blocks to open doors (i.e. a lever or button) however, I have two concrete blocks that act as the key holder for each key. The keys also must be placed in a specific order beside the doors, so I decided to color code the doors with different colored concrete. However, when using the CanPlaceOn data tag for each item, (this map is also in adventure mode) I found that I was unable to specify the data value of the block that I wanted to place the key on, resulting that you can place the key for the red concrete door on the blue one. Does anyone have a way around this?

There is none so far, other than maybe using different blocks. This will get changed in 1.13 where every block will have its own unique name and where you can make your own kind of "collections".
