How to use brigadier for 1.12.x version?

i'm currently working on map making in 1.12.2 version because it has mods that i need for it, but after knowing the 1.3.x "brigadier" library it become much easier so i wanted to make the same thing to an older version of minecraft 1.12.2 , is there way to do it??

if its made for X version it wont work with or for another version
