Structure
Full Bukkit Support -- This doesn't mean that the Admins know how to use bukkit or the server space came with a shell (like a lot of other servers out there). The Admins on Hogwarts RP experience thoroughly proficient with its use and applications.
TeamSpeak Server -- We encourage the use of P2P communication. It not only helps clear the chatter on the in game chat, but helps create a more direct community. Especially for Duel experiences.(TEAMSPEAK COMING SOON)
Player shops -- Buy and Sell items from your own customizable store fronts! Use your gold you got from Gringots bank.

An active group of admins and moderators -- We keep all of our admins and moderators working hard so you can enjoy the best experience possible!
House's -- Join a faction (house) with your friends! Make war with Enemy houses! Or draw trade alliances and have peace. It's up to you! Houses are Gryffindor, Slytherine, Hufflepuff and RavenClaw.
Dueling Events -- Massive fights and journeys together through the use of spells!
Magical Protections -- Different level students are able to lock chests and doors to keep the pesky trolls out.
Griefer Protection -- Subtle protection, but effective. Large to Small scale griefing is logged and can be rolled back.

HRPE utilizes a House system for its players, which, besides serving as an indicator of status, grants (or inhibits) player abilities that affect commands as well as environmental interaction.
Each rank provides the player with a different set of commands. The higher your rank, the more commands at your disposal. Spending time in the server, helping others, and having a positive influence will earn you the privilege of an increased rank and, thus, more abilities/responsibility. Only those with moderator abilities may change the rank of other players—both up and down.

:////: Rank 1: Guest. People logging into the server for the first time, spawn in as guests. Guests are unable to place/destroy blocks, open doors or interact with the environment in any way. They may chat, read about our rules and have a look around, but won’t be able to play until they are sorted into a house!
:////: Sorting 2: Gyrifindor Year one : proud, honest and true
RavenClaw Year one: Honest and kind
Hufflepuff year one : Modest and thoughtful
Slytherin Year One: Desipises everything and anything good.
Further Year House Ranks listed further can only be reached if you have been active in server over a month!

:////: Rank 3: House Head. Moderator status. House Heads can, among other things, promote or demote other players as well as kick them (as long as they are from the same house they are the head of. They may seem like enforcers, but really they are just there to ensure that the game runs smoothly and that everyone is having an enjoyable time.
:////: Rank4: Admins. Admins serve as a bridge between the server administrator and everyone else while possessing most, if not all, of the same commands. They can warp to any player, spawn blocks, and scan areas to investigate any griefing problems. Do NOT ask a Knight to spawn you resources; this is a survival server, and you won't be given anything. Only mod/admin-sponsored projects have the right to be given spawned blocks.
:////: Rank 7: iSGC. Meet TheiKing (Dumbledoor). TheiKing keeps the server running, maintains the website and Facebook group, and keeps everyone updated through messages across all three mediums. He decides what goes and what stays out. If you have ideas or requests, he’s happy to hear it. And while we will vote on certain inclusions or exclusions to the server, Lihad has final say. - : No griefing of any kind.
- This includes infringement upon another member's property/structures (entering any structure/area without consent of owner.)
- : No hacks, server altering mods, utilizing exploits or bugs for any reason.
- : No stealing.
- : PvP has to be consensual or only between Factions.
- Don't open chests, furnaces, or dispensers unless explicitly marked as public
Member Code of Conduct
- : Use Common Sense!
- Don't be immature.
- : Do not spam.
- This includes spamming ingame chat, Teamspeak , or the forums.
- : ]Do not harass or use vulgar/derogatory language targeted at another member.
- Keep in mind there are younger/sensitive members within the community. If a complaint is raised against you by several members, you will be banned without warning.
- : Respect members & their property.
- : Do not harass the moderators & admins.
- If they find you out of hand or annoying, they have to right to ban you.
- : ]Do not kite mobs to other members & their property.
- : If you are aware another member is violating the rules, please inform them first. If it continues, report them to a mod or admin.
Building Code of Conduct
- : Try to apply basic laws of physics when constructing. (Unless Using Spells)
- This means no structures that are solely meant to mark positions. (1x1, 2x2, 3x3 towers that an op/moderator/admin/iSGC deems ugly.)
- : No randomly tilled dirt.
- : No gravity defying structures without consent from the moderators/admins or use of a spell.
- : No abandoned structures.
- Take down you're structure or hand it over to another member. not complying with this rule will result in a demotion.
- : Do not dig straight down without markers on the surface.
- No one likes falling down random holes.
- : No over usage of cobblestone or dirt.
