Ping in Australia!
I live in Australia and hate the ping.
I've tried VPN, tried all of those. Still can't figure out how to reduce my latency.
So, got any good servers that have good ping from Australia for me?
Thanks!

What latency speeds are you getting? I'm guessing about 1000ms? I live with similar speeds here.
Try connecting to your modem directly with an Ethernet cable. It decreases your upload and download, yet also decreases your latency by (Possibly) 2x.
If that fails, try installing something like Killer network manager (Or something similar). Decreased my latency from 700 to 350.
Also moving your router/modem/etc. closer to a window or opening can increase speed significantly.

killer stuff only works if you have a killer card, not every one does

I have an Asus Strix standard graphics card, is that technically a killer GPU?

graphics cards are not the same as network cards

I'm getting 400ms or so to L.A hosted servers, 550ms to Washington, and 600ms to UK.
I'll check it out, the program.

vpns generally increase ping time
no vpn { you - isp - server }
vpn { you - isp - vpn server - server } not necessarily in that order but you get the point
but just look for servers based in your area, if not then it could just be your internet connection that has bad ping and multiple factors can effect it, EG wireless connection vs wired, upload speed to servers, age of modem, current usage of bandwidth and so on

My internet:
Also doesn't help with the fact that we only have one network for a Netflix loving family, lol.

upstream or upload as its better known as, is the main factor in ping, outside of being used that is, if the speed to the server is slow then even if your download is faster than the speed of light you still gota wait for the server to receive the message to start with, even still restarting the modem every now and then can also help slightly, even i have to do that every now and then and only takes a couple minutes
long story short, high ping is normal for people with low upload speed
