Realms of Avalon is a medieval role-playing server that has been in various stages of development for over two years. Our team has been building for the last three months to open our first public area, the Isle of Byrin.

At Realms of Avalon, our focus is on creating a unique, immersive experience, heavily inspired by great role-playing games such as the Elder Scrolls. We aim to create a consistent, atmospheric backdrop for role-players to develop characters and we populate our worlds densely with hidden secrets and humorous dialogue.

We also use plugins to add immersion and atmosphere to our server, including custom alcohol, unique enchantments, a physical enonomy and customized mobs and treasures.

Most of all, Avalon is- and will remain- a small, friendly group of role-players having fun building a believable world.

Our server is now in open Beta, and we are taking applications for role-play characters! If you'd like to be a part of Realms of Avalon, you can apply on our website at http://realms-of-avalon.enjin.com/ or you can apply directly in this thread.

To apply, please provide the following information.

Your Minecraft username
Your age
Your role playing experience level (if any)
A method of contact (such as Skype)

And...

Your characters full name
A race (We currently support Humans, Elves, Dwarves and Drow [Dark Elves])

And your characters back-story. This should be at least one paragraph in length and demonstrate a decent writing ability. Poorly spelled or punctuated applications will not be considered. If you have a character that you like to use on other role playing servers or websites, you can simply paste their information in.

While we try to be open-minded about characters, we will not accept custom or alternative races, "god-modded" characters (those with unlikely strong powers) or characters who are too modern for our world. If you want to make a high quality application, we recommend you read the lore on our website first.
