About Travels

Travels is a minecraft survival server. Our goal is to provide the community with
a brand new aspect of Minecraft gameplay - and we do such by altering
crafting recipes, implementing economy, adding cool gadgets,
and of course, all our favorite overpowered items.

Our features & gameplay

essentialy alters our usual survival into a completely different experience.

- DDos Protection | Getting tired of playing just to get DDosed by a random
player? Our premium server offers large amounts of DDos protection
to keep the server safe, up, and running.

- Balanced Economy | Have you seen those servers where developers rush
out their economy, and make unbalanced, & exploitable deals on the shop?
Not to worry. We take our time and make sure that all our features are balanced,
as we will also have an extended time for beta testing.

We're Recruiting

Travels is currently in the alpha state. We are run by a small group of helpers & an owner.
Therefore, we are looking to expand. There many categories of things you can apply for.

- Manager, the highest position. You will be in charge of the server while the owners are
unavailable. This position requires a high amount of skills, as well as judgement.
This position will be managing staff, giving a say on recruits, giving out
interviews, assignments, etc. We also expect this person to act polite,
mature, & respectful at all times.

- Administrator. This position will be in charge of dealing with ban appeals, server suggestions, as
well as moderator the forums. This position should be handling situations that can be
troublesome for a moderator, as well as situations that can not be resolved via protocol.
These people must show good judgment to situations, as well as a high amount of experience
in dealing with many situations.

- Moderator. This position sustains a clean, friendly, & respectful environment on the server.
Their main task is to watch for cheaters, control the chat volume, and messages, as well
as handling reports. This position would be suitable for those with not much experience,
as we have written a complete protocol set for the moderators. These people must
dedicate a good amount of time into the server

- Builder. This position will take care of all the amazing builds on the server. We expect them
to be creative, active, and show team-working skills.

- Developer, (GFX, Web, Plugin, or Config). This position will handle assignments given
from the manager or owner, and will create cool features for the server, and for
the players to enjoy.

- Alpha/Beta testers, these specifically selected players will run through many tests
for the server, and make sure its gameplay is fun, unexploitable, etc.
