How We're Different

1 - Rules: Most servers have an army of administrators and moderators looking to ban/punish you for every little thing. We don't. We enforce our one rule of no cheating/hacking, other than that, you are free to play and interact with others as you please. Please keep in mind, if you are one who likes the safety net of a moderator police force this may not be the server for you.


2 - Clusterbomb Spawns: Usually when you log into a Minecraft server for the first time, you areoverwhelmed by the endless spawn area, billions of signs, and a mob of lost newbies - meaning it will take you 15 minutes to figure out where you can build. In OlympusCraft, you spawn in the capital city, you have a short one page book in your inventory, and you are 5 steps away from the portal pools that take you to the worlds.


3 - Over Powered Players: When joining a server, it is common for all of the donators to have the best items, and a wealth of bonus commands which make them untouchable. Everyone is usually already in their little groups and nobody is trying to talk to you. Did PlayerX trash talk you? No problem, use the LIVE MAP, find his base, and destroy it. All are equals here.


4 - Plugin Overload: Yes we have a few plugins, but all of these plugins serve to enhance the vanilla experience, not alter it.




FACTION CITY DOMINATION

FCD is a server feature that allows factions to fight in order to conquer a city. The city can then become the faction headquarters, and gives out benefits and special advantages to its members.

Owning a city gives your guild several benefits. First off, for as long as you control a Faction City, your faction is rewarded with Valor hourly, deposited directly and automatically to your faction bank. Secondly, your faction is given control of the city allowing you to build freely on protected land without fear of being raided (at least until the next City capture interval). Lastly, the longer you own a City, the higher the chance of a random treasure chest appearing with randomly increasing loot value depending on the number of weeks the city is controlled.

Forsaken City (FC) - Daily 07:00hrs GMT +8


Mechanics

To control a city, you will need to dominate the throne located strategically inside the cities. Players will need to stand near it while there are no other enemy players near them until the throne is 100% captured.


To dominate a city, your faction must be in control of it once the capture interval ends (1 hour). You will then be in control of the city and may build freely on it until the end next city capture interval.


Benefits

Every 30 minutes the dominating faction will be rewarded with (10 * online players of faction) Valor. This will be placed directly into the faction bank.


Faction members will be given permission to build and modify the city to their liking with no fear of being raided until the next faction city interval where it will become available to whomever controls it.


Factions in control of the city for a week straight will receive a treasure chest with random loot inside it. The value of the loot increases each succeeding week that the faction still controls the city.


Location

Players will be able to warp to the Faction Cities anytime using the /warp command.
