Bruh I have to wait 9 years until it’s finally my year for Chinese New Years? This is a scam?

Anyways, some fun facts about it to anyone who doesn’t celebrate: Often times there are fireworks and firecrackers used on Lunar New Years and LNYs Eve! They’re to scare off the ghosts/妖怪 right at the start of the new year! (12AM though some do it earlier) Last night, I heard a family on my block lighting it up around 9 PM
You may heard of this second tradition which is to give red envelopes of money! They’re called red pockets, I just say envelopes because yeah. These envelopes are not only to pass you some of that cash but to wish you good luck and wealth/fortune! I think in the original story, there were coins used to put inside instead of a bill, and the shine of those coins scared away demons. You can’t use coins though now. Also, never give $4-40 because the #4 is bad luck! It sounds like death in chinese so that number is usually avoided. I mean…. unless you wanna give $44 to someone you hate…? Maybe it’s not a good idea.

anyone planning to watch All Of Us Are Dead on Netflix? Do not. It’s trash, unless ur rlly not picky and rlly could care less about what u watch
there’s practically only 3 or so watchable characters. the girls are all useless and stupid excluding 2 or something and it’s a shame for the actors to have to play such a trash role when the could rlly be showing their skill with something better than this garbage dump of a drama

Just had a crisis bc I woke up from sleep and noticed something strange.. ITE still Wednesday Jan 19
I thought maybe my tablet screen is broken so I googled it, Jan 19… I checked if it’s daylight savings time… Nope
i was so comfused
then I looked back and realised it said 7:20 PM not AM and that I did not just wake up to get ready for school I woke up from a nap

Genshin getting ppl into peking opera 😎 I thought there would be more hate towards it but I’m pleasantly surprised so many people are now researching into other performances
If anyone is curious about another variation of Chinese opera, here’s a HK/Cantonese one that I really like! So glad that I finally have an excuse to show it to someone lol— especially since my parents aren’t a fan of Chinese opera 😔🤚 (Di Nu Hua/Dai Loi Hua)

srslg MDZS has awesome fighting scenes, the effects on the sword r rlly cool
and fumetsu no Anata e is incredibly well developed and idk if it’s underrated or not but I suggest it, it’s for anyone whether you’re into anime or not bc it’s just that good
