Ok, so what you wanna do is press windows key and R at the same time.
Then, type cmd into the little box and hit enter. next a black window will appear, here, type ipconfig and look for the following at the top of the page:
Wireless LAN adapter WiFi
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : home
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . . . : *************************
IPv4 Address . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : ()()()()()()
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *************
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . . . . : *************
The *** parts are my IP stuff, but you want to look at the ()() part, type this into direct connect (the person connecting to the server) and start an LAN world.
Now, when you start the LAN world, a number will come up EXAMPLE:
123.456.7.89:(THE IMPORTANT BIT WILL BE HERE)
So, the IMPORTANT bit ^ is the bit you type after the ()()()()() bit for the person connecting
~Bob
(let me know if you don't understand a part)
