Soo I'm currently looking into opening commissions sometime this year?? I can't promise it'll be soon since for the next few months I'm swamped with work, but once that passes I'm hoping I'll be able to actually open commissions?!

I'm just trying to look into how to do it right now, so when the time comes it'll be less daunting. I just have a question, because I'm so unsure- What would be the best way to deal with payments that isn't PayPal?? My family has had such bad experiences with PayPal, I'm honestly a bit nervous about using it myself since when it comes to banking I'm clueless.

I know there's apps like cashapp, but I'm not sure how it works?? Canada doesn't really use apps like those for transferring money, so I'm just looking for some recommendations, and suggestions :')

Yeah, eTransfer is great within Canada but when it comes to sending money internationally, you need something else.

Yeah- I was actually looking at ko-fi since my European friend recommended it, and I remembered a lot of Sims 4 custom content creators use it (Most of the creators I like are in Europe as a side-note) so I'm gonna look into ko-fi a bit more! :')

I checked out Patreon as well to see what they actually offered, but it definitely isn't much help for me sadly :sob:

I definitely wish I didn't have to find alternatives to what I'm most familiar with, though. Like Interac e-transfer is my best friend AHAH

You could set up a buymeacoffee and set different amounts of coffees for different tiers of commissions. I'd imagine you can link your bank information so you can get your payments directly from them.

As a fellow Canadian, I've also had issues with cashapp and similar apps since it seems like most of them work exclusively in the US.

okay!! i made a new support stamp :)

its a bit bigger than i intended, so i recommend shrinking the width to 350 and height to 184 so its not so big! i know it makes the "I support" a bit unreadable, but i figured its not that big of a deal :')

did it take me about 2ish hours to redo my profile? yes. does it look completely different now? also yes.

whole new aesthetic going on now, and i quite like it!

also just for disclaimers sake; all the art used on my profile is not mine, nor have i ever have or ever will claim it is mine.

i suspect all the art is by the same artist, though, but im unsure since there was no signatures (probably edited off by someone) and i found all of them on google (i try not to use google, but sadly this aesthetic needed google) so if anyone happens to know the original artist (or artists) let me know so i can properly credit them!

So normally I have acrylic nails on, but yesterday I decided to CAREFULLY rip them off (they kept breaking/falling off) which resulted in me taping a few of my fingertips because the natural nails are so thin in some places they're temperature sensitive to the point of pain... NOW THIS ISN'T ME SAYING NOT TO EVER GET ACRYLICS OR TO STOP GETTING THEM, BUT just BE CAREFUL as to who you trust. I was going to a nail place I had been having many issues with over the past few months so it's entirely my own fault in the end. With that being said; if anyone has any practical solutions that don't involve bandaids and medical tape, let me know!!! My current plan is to look for some glue on nails to protect the thin nail while it grows out, but I'm not sure how well they would work? BUT UNTIL THEN I will be rocking the medical tape :sunglasses:

Hello! I've revamped my profile, posted a seasonal skin about a week ago at 2AM and then disappeared again AHAH

It was completely unintentional, but of course, I get swamped with work when I think I've gotten a break. :') I hope everyone is doing well, though! I'm hoping and praying I'll be able to make some more seasonal skins just for you guys, but only time will tell!

I 1000% need to get a new profile theme going- I'm thinking fall themed? :') Summer is almost over, and honestly that's my only excuse to enjoy a nice warm fall aesthetic when August has just barely started

I have have to start early yaknow? I have to have a Tumblr aesthetic and a Halloween aesthetic prepared!!

This sounds fun!! Not everyone is perfect anyway :'))

I get really annoyed when finding out new things about an ex-friend of mine I very recently cut off since I'm still finding out stuff she didn't tell me months after blocking her everywhere...

My best friend replacing me- In my defense it has happened in the past and my current best friend and I did have a situation where he found some new friends and I felt like I was replaced. We spent time apart for a few months and he started an big argument with me that went on for about a week, but we're fine now :') The fear is still always there though-

This kind of goes back to my now ex-friend I mentioned before - I only hate people if they give me a reason to, and this ex-friend has honestly made me hate people who act like they're mature, grown adults when all they do is blame their problems and faults on other people. She's done so much more that I generally can't stand in a person, but considering I tried my best to save our 12-year friendship and she still has the audacity to keep the act that caused her to lose not only myself, but a group of amazing friends is just baffling-

I have Spheksophobia which is a fear of wasps- I can't look at wasps, and even hearing the word is enough to bring me half to tears. This was caused by a certain event when I was super young, so it's not entirely irrational like most fears of flying, stinging insects :')

Okay a few questions for all of you do you're best to answer honestly-

what is one random thing that makes you mad/annoyed/angry
what is one irrational/selfish fear of your's
what is quality about a person you despise
what is you're biggest phobia

I'll start:

I get angry when people talk about my friends personal business; Im really protective of the people who make me happy and when someone talks about them (even when I'm friends with the person gossiping) I get super angry

I'm terrified that my bestie'll become better friends with someone else

I absolutely hate pick-me girls, I'm someone who always tries to look my best when I go out, and that one person who nitpicks me and judges me for my choices really gets on my nerves.

I have thanatophobia which is the fear of you or a loved one dying, I also have musophobia the fear of rodents along with a lot more.

This is optional (of course) I just want to know more about you guys!

I've been on a Disney/Pixar marathon since last night, and I've now watched 7 movies over since I've started- I haven't done much productive other than watching movies and FINALLY decided to play Brave in the background while I make skins since I can't be bothered to work on finishing up my budget/spending tracker right now :')) An attempt at being an adult was made, and I sorta got it? Until then, Disney/Pixar movie marathon!!!

Savings are important :')) I have to have physical cash savings for an actual piggy bank because I have no self-control and cant save money if I have access to it in the moment- I also spend way too much money on other people- But I just love buying random gifts for my family and friends :sob: The other day I bought my dad some bakeapple jam for literally no reason other than the fact that I know he likes bakeapples... Annddd can't forget me spending like $20 on a reversible squid plush for my sister because I thought it was really cute fehbfewrhjb

I hardly budget myself and I'm well aware that I often spend more than I should on certain things...
I'm happy to say I have pretty good savings though, like 3/4 of my money are in some form of savings account that I don't touch.

I may or may not have changed Siera's hair colour :') I've had the pink hair for over a year now and I definitely felt like a change!

I went hiking with my friends today! It was rainy, and foggy, but it was so fun!! When I got home, though, I was so tired I went for a nap at 4PM anndddd kinda didn't wake up until 11PM- Yeaaahhhhh

It's been a while since I last uploaded- I'm gonna try to stockpile some skins so I can hopefully have more uploads, though!! I've been so busy with making skins for a server that I not only now have skin block, but I'm so used to requests that it's a little difficult to come up with my own ideas :') I love making skins for the server, but the amount of work over the past 2 months definitely hits hard after constantly having projects-

Today, July 1st is supposed to be Canada Day. No one should be celebrating today, though. 1,000+ Indigenous children have been found in mass graves across Canada due to residential schools, over 70,000 Indigenous children have been reported missing since the openings of the residential schools.

If you are Canadian, what are you celebrating today? What do you have to be proud of right now? The last residential school in Canada closed in 1996, the average age of Canadians is 45. The majority of Canadians were alive while this was happening, the survivors of those schools are still alive.

I apologise for the controversial post, as someone who is Canadian, and have been hearing about the numbers of children being found getting higher, and higher, this shouldn't even be as controversial as it became.

We wear Orange today and stand with those who need it most while mourning the loss of many great children who could have grown to be such amazing people in this world.

Okay! I mentioned group skins up to 5+, and gave a starting price but said I would contact the person directly to let them know their exact price :')) That's a good idea though! Group skins were difficult to figure out because my main thing was just adding an extra dollar the more was in the group, but that eventually adds up and just starts getting to be over-priced to a point

Start small, and charge reasonable amounts for the quality you're dishing out. Also give discounts on bigger projects such as a group of 10 skins would have a 5% discount for example.

STORYTIME

So, my cat, Anne, loves being outside, SO LIKE THE AMAZING CAT OWNER I AM I BROUGHT HER OUTSIDE DISPITE IT BEING VERY CHILLY- I decided to put her on the trampoline, though since she tries to go under it, and after about 15 minutes of her being on there I tried to get her off *and you see* she started fighting me... She would either lay down or try to pull herself out of her harness when I tried to pull on the leash to be like "Can you come here please" (She knows when I tug her leash she has to go in that direction, or if I tighten it she knows she can't go that way) and she was just like "NO"

So I called my Mom (I was literally in the backyard) asking for help because she was fighting me for 10 minutes and I was cOLD

AND WHEN MY PARENTS CAME OUT SHE JUST GOT OFF THE TRAMPOLINE HERSELF- I SWEAR SHE GOT OFF BECAUSE I TOLD ON HER BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANNA LEAVEEEE

Also- I lost my grammar halfway through that, I'm sorry :')
