my opinions on all the minecraft versions ive played
Java - i actually first played java, but i only knew it as minecraft at the time, and i didnt know ANYTHING about the game. i saw some spooky creepypasta house mods where some guy goes into the house and finds the creepypasta and runs away
Minecraft Education Edition - i like how its free to all students, but i HATE how we are unable to use experimental features. they took it away from us after 1.21.90! but it still functions normal, including mods and skins etc, but another thing is that you need to be in the same school to even play with each other
Bedrock - got this for my birthday and it was already pushing stuff down my throat as i opened it :sob:, the only reason i played bedrock most of the time was because i was WAY more familiar with it, such as mods and maps. it was the same as MC Edu but i could actually use multiplayer and i could use experimental features
oh and it WILL crash after more than, like, 5 or 6 mods for little things, or like 2 to 3 mods for medium/large things, and mods cant be switched mid game
Java - youre wondering why i put java twice, this is because this is me playing java now with a LOT more knowledge on the game. its kind of complicated when you go into files, but after only recently (well at the time im typing this) starting to play it im starting to find out more
i really like how java can autofill commands, and it highlights it for you, and you can even add teams with colors
i also like the mods, like TACZ and Superb Warfare
but when you look for mods on curseforge, its NOT the best experience. why? sometimes, it doesnt look great, or sometimes it adds too little
and you can only load mods in the versions they can use, which wasnt really a problem on bedrock
oh and to import a world for java, you have to download a world and then move the file into the saves for that specific curseforge modpack
