You're making a skin request, yet the only thing you say is that you'd like it to be medieval or roman. Or something cool and unique.

Furthermore, if you want a 'personal' skin, asking for someone else to make it is never going to happen, because that would create some sort of a paradox which I'm not going to attempt and explain. If something is personal, that means you made it, or it was made according to what the maker knows you like. So only you ,your family member or your best friend could make something personal.

But I'm assuming you just misused the term "personal" and really mean you want it to not be published so that only you can use it.

If you want something Roman, there's a guy who knows nothing but rome, he legit feeds off of it, and it's sort of his all spark or something. His name is Rome (what a coincidence) and he made a lot of great roman skins. You can ask him, but make sure to tell him not to publish it, because he may just publish it before he even made it. xD

The reason why Hypixel and all those other servers you mentioned, have so many people everyday. Is because they're really good servers. None of them got their player base overnight (excluding Hypixel, since he already had a big fan base that were just waiting for a server to be made). If you're server is really good, has amazing stuff, looks nice, has a lot of quality. Then there's no reason why it would ever be lost in the millions of other servers, especially if those millions of servers are general ones with minimal stuff and plugins.

Think of it like Youtube, not a single youtuber expects to get where they are now. I didn't even think I'd get to 5 subs on PMC, but here I am. And that's a big number for me, considering that what I made so far is of really poor quality.

And remember that all those famous servers have their own websites, with a store, forums, FAQ page, contact details, and other stuff. And those websites are also of amazing quality.

I'd suggest - if you have the funds to make a 24/7 server - to hire incredible builders, redstoners, ect. Make it the best server it could ever be, and just wait for the word to spread, or for people to discover your server bit by bit. And if you have enough money, and the server is good enough for a lot of people to stay, advertise it on famous websites like this one.

P.S. You're making the numbers WAY smaller than they would actually be. And what I've understood from your calculations, is that you think that if someone has a server, or plays a server. They will never ever play on another server in their life.

Whenever you're online and see this message, just let me know, and I'll get back to you soon with a PM, and we'll discuss the details. I'm all ready to make the skin, just need to know some things that you did not specify.

Having a little issue, for some reason it's not letting me publish it as 1.7. There's no option either, it just publishes as 1.8+.

I'll write a ticket and see what I can do. It should still work, since there's no armor layers, and it's the steve model.

Sorry the belt doesn't look like it's in the right position. But that's just because if I put it higher, it would look like it's on her chest because of the minecraft dimensions.

I'm currently working on someone else's skin, but it'll only take like 10 minutes to finish once they reply. And when I've posted it on my page, and they're happy with it, I can do yours.

I'm not saying I'll make something amazing looking, but you can take a look at the other skin once I publish it, and you can tell me if that's the sort of style you're okay with.

I always work from reference images, so I may ask you for some more details. And I've never tried to make a blocky humanoid monkey, but I'll give it a shot and see how the face turns out.

Figured it out. For whatever reason, the image was 600 something by 300 something pixels, and I don't even know when it changed to that. Since I opened the skin file in gimp which was 64x64 pixels. And I didn't do anything to the skin other than add a little saturation.

Anyway, got it fixed, had to look for a bit on how to scale in Gimp without anti-aliasing. But it works now.

It turned out to be something completely different. For some reason the image was 600 something by 300 something pixels. Instead of 64x64. xD

I scaled it down, saved it, and now it words perfectly.

Just tested it, and I think one final decision from you, and it will be ready for publishing and using.

Basically, you know how there's the top of the body, top of the legs, and all those inside bits which you don't usually see? Well, I made them the skin colour since it's inside her body, and it would be unrealistic if she had clothing inside her. But as I was running around in 2nd and 3rd person, I saw that these parts were really visible. And it sorta looks weird.

So I propose that I make it unrealistic, but realistic in an in-game sense. Basically I will change the inner parts to be clothes as well, and hair and all that. And that way, when you look down, the top of the body will be hair, and it will look more like the hair is going down your head and onto your back. And the same would be with top of the legs, where it would look like the dress is always covering them.

What do you think? You want it to be visually realistic? It will literally take 10 minutes max, so it's entirely up to you.

P.S. I made the bottom of her legs, brown. Just because I didn't really see her running around barefoot. It's never going to be visible, unless you're standing on the edge of a block, and someone is standing below you.

I've run into a little issue, basically I did some final render edits in Gimp, and when I exported the file as .png, most parts are in the wrong places and some are stretched. Even though the image is exactly as it was in MCSkin3D. Don't worry, I'll just take a skin from minersneedcoolshoes, and rearrange your skin to that skin's layout. Hopefully it will work out fine and will be done before midnight.

    Alright, finished the skin!

As I said, I'm not very good at making amazing skins, but I tried my hardest with this one.

How would you like me to give it to you? Are you okay with me posting it on my submissions page?

One thing, would you like her to have second layer hair? I know you said no armor layer, but the hat layer has been way before the 1.8 skins existed. Just curious, since I can make her hair look much better that way.

And when I finish the skin, do you want the colors exactly as in the picture? Or slightly more pale or saturated. In this case, saturating it is going to make it look like she's in a sunny environment. And desaturating it would just wash out the colors slightly.

Ok, I'm almost done, just going to extend the dress down to her feet, and reset some of the rendering. I think I may have darkened her hair too much, so I'll fix that aswell.

Not going to take long, but I may take a slight break, as it's midnight here in UK, and I am starting to feel slightly tired. Wouldn't want work on your skin while half awake.

I'm not very good at making amazing skins, but I'll try my best. Because if I can try to make a skin, why not take the chance.

And please note that the skins on my submissions are from 3 years ago, and since then I've made and edited many skins.

Though I'll need to know what the bottom half should look like. Are her legs bare? Or does she have one of those long sock pairs that go up to her knees. And what do her shoes look like, what style or shape. Please use any images to help explains your answer. Also, how long is the skirt? Does it go down to her knees, or is it shorter? And does she have anything on her hands? Like gloves or something?

I'll get started as soon as I get the info I need. And right after I get a good night's sleep.

    It works!

I got rid of the [type=Player] at the beginning, and changed both "@e" and "@p" to "@a".

    So now it's /execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:emerald_block 0 /spawnpoint @a ~ ~1 ~

I'll try merging the two commands. So I'll keep my one, and just change all the targeting to @a.

My thinking is that the number that it wants is the second ID after the ":". Since you still have to type the numerical ID for the type of block when putting them into commands, such as wool or stained blocks. So it would be "wool 2" for magenta, and since an emerald block doesn't have any other types, there can't be a number after it. But then it returns to the problem, where it thinks that "/spawnpoint" is the type ID of the block. These command blocks man. Can't live with them, can't make proper maps without them. :/

This is the one I'm using, and yes, it's similar.

    /execute @e[type=Player] ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:emerald_block 0 /spawnpoint @p ~ ~1 ~

The video is for 1.8.7, and I'm on 1.8.9. So I have no clue whether they changed some command stuff in between the updates.
