Seriously, everyone needs to take a deep breath for a moment. Yes, there are terrible things going on in the world, but almost all of the fears expressed here would disappear if it were not for one thing, the heart of mankind. The planet could easily sustain a population even much larger than it is today if we could all follow just a couple of simple concepts,
1. be kind and considerate to your neighbor, (this alone would change the world radically and rapidly),
2. be less motivated to force others to behave a certain way and instead always do what is right in the small corner of it you can influence. That is, always do what is right, and let others be free to do the same.
Sorry for the long winded response, but these simple things really would usher in more liberty, more prosperity, better stewardship of natural resources around the entire planet. In short, a moral society (or one that desires to do good for others) never needs laws to force them into good behavior and only a moral society can govern itself. So it all comes back to the hearts of mankind...
