Another thing that can occasionally solve the problem is running the program as administrator (in WIndows XP and earlier versions, use the "Run as..." option and specify the username + password that you want the program to execute as a certain user (such as an administrator account)). (You get to the Run as administrator option by right clicking on the program you're having trouble with

PS: To run a program as a different user in WIndows Vista (meaning Windows Server 2008 and later too), you need to use the RUNAS program at the command prompt.

Also, trying common fixes (restarting program and/or PC or running as administrator) can possibly prevent the kind of posts that you see saying they have a problem, then after doing one of the common fixes (usually 2+ mins later), they reply "nvm, solved it", as those posts dont' have that much of a meaning

Edit to that; I wasn't too specific on that point, sorry for that: I meant that, for example, if let's say, an ambiguity occurs, a point is given to the moderator (or offender) , and if there are a lot of points from many people for breaking a specific rule, then, that rule may be changed so it can be a bit easier understood

    Method One
    • First, hold down the Windows key and simultaneously press R.
    • Once a small dialog box shows up, type in “dxdiag” without quotations.
    • When a prompt box appears, click the “No” option - we don’t need to check to make sure your drivers are signed at this moment.
    • Once the diagnostic tool has finished, take a screenshot of the “System” page and of the “Display” page. If you don’t feel comfortable with letting us know your computer’s name, simply draw over it with Microsoft Paint. If you have a service such as Gyazo, Lightshot, or puush, upload to those websites respectively. If you do not, use the snipping tool built in to Windows and then upload the result to a website like Imgur or tinypic.

You can also find the system info by doing "msinfo32" and might be as specific as dxdiag, but it also shows software components, which could also work

Or you could modify/tamper/etc with it and they are gone. However, I don't know how to do that, nor to I recommend it.

There's an update log tab, and Btw, it is for *major* additons/edits:

    7.1.6Update Log

The update log is only to be used for major updates, changes, or additions to your submission. Listing small changes is considered update log abuse and repeated abuse will result in the deletion of your submission(s). This includes but is not limited to:

    Minor title/description/content changes

Adding or Editing pictures, videos or banners

    Announcements that are not updates

Advertisements for server or other submissions

    Bumping a submission/Blank Logs

Note: The Update log does not bump server submissions. The Bump Submission button is there for that purpose instead. You can only bump your server submission once every 24 hours.

I mean, don't you think, for example the higher up editions (like Server editions of OS's) have more features?

I still want some employees of my business to have some of the other GUI that other Linux distros have, and it isn't really posible to use a web browser on text-only interfaces, like a CLI

Also, I thought Windows 8 was also good & bad, and I also found this program for Win8 and it gave you the start menu they had Windows 7. I also didn't really like that specific part of WIndows 8. I also like that via Group Policy (gpedit.msc), it's possible to show the apps/programs rather than the tiles you get by default, especially for enterprises/schools using it.

Also, I have Windows 7 on my most recent PC's as well as Windows Vista on one (it kinda sucked, luckily that was NOT used for gaming, it wasn't even connected to the Internet or a network, and I also had Win98 (support ended on July 11, 2006) on 2 PC's and Win3.11 (with MS-DOS on one other PC) and a few other IBM pc's with OS/2 and one with XP on it.

Also, I had a PC (EDIT: ~ 20+ PC's) that had Windows Server 2003 on one of them, but 2 weeks ago (July 14) I never conencted to the Internet as Win 2k3 support ended.

Also, Windows ME kinda was criticized over stability issues, and speaking about WIndows 7 being fast, I also found this setting in Advanced System Settings that let you enable|disable specific graphics options on them. I used that to get a bit more performance. I also ended the EXPLORER.EXE process and set the default shell to CMD because Explorer.exe uses a bit of RAM. It was even closed by Data Execution Prevention (DEP), according to some reports

I thought you could share acct's/ with other people, can't you?

EDIT: I assume the answer to OP's question is no, you don't need other emails, however Mojang's not responsible if they cause havoc/harm to it

I pulled out the Windows vs. Linux picture.

Oh, and are posts like "OS vs. OS" "Console vs. Console" and similar allowed?

I had the same issue, however, it was that I wanted to limit the download *speed* as my brother sometimes get kinda mad when he's playing CoD and I'm downloading something, especially big files like EXE's and ISO's

and even wien I am on PMC, and some other websites! I once thought that PMC was slow because of my network, but it was just that specific website, so I assume it isn't a network issue on my site

Ik it's legal, I meant to say as "against the rules", I should've said, and the purpost of this thread, is to tell people how you can spot, (and shut down) mods with MCreator. (Shut down = Help the moderators delete the stuff they despise!)
