any tips for me? mario games are the only games i've played on the switch :")

um im 5 months late and im breaking the rules because im just going to answer all of these
is it just me or is it fun to answer questions about yourself that no one asked you in the first place? idk i find it kind of fun

1. in order of what i started first: traditional, painting, digital

2. tEchnically all my life but i started really getting into digital art around december 2022

3. no clue :skull:

4. also in order of what i started first: ibix paint x, clip studio paint, procreate

5. don't do these (i wish i did :(

6. characters 100% although i use to make landscapes with watercolor all the time

7. honestly no clue- i've definitely drawn some characters more than others but i don't exactly love drawing them

8. uh this is awkward but im going to have to say random ai art on pinterest :') i don't support ai art at all or know much about it but there was a time where ai art was literally the only thing on my pinterest and at the time, i didn't even know what ai art was :sob:

9. wanderer from genshin impact, hanako from tbhk, hu tao, literally anyone and everyone with a hat

10. i've been playing with my art style a lot- i always wanted to becoming good at digital painting but recently, (like a week ago) i started shifting to a more cartoony style and i honestly love it so far!

13. honestly, i really don't know. there are a ton of things i wouldn't call super fun about being an artist, but i'm not sure if i would call them hard nessecarilly.

14. recently i've gotten into playing around with facial expressions, which isn't exactly a small detail but i thought it was worth mentioning :p

15. not really sure at the moment, i used to love coloring the most, but lineart honestly is pretty fun too nowadays.

16. hmm lets see... 1 for background, 1 (sometimes 2) for sketch, 1 for lineart, 1 for base colors, 1 for shading, 1 for layer modes on top/rendering whatever you art folk call it. in total, 4-7

17. i used to draw multiple pieces a day when i first got csp about last year january and that continued for a long time. then, i kinda had burnout starting last year october, but recently got back into drawing a few weeks ago :D

18. i don't actually share much of my art online these days, mostly because im still getting used to sharing art from my ipad and it's annoying.

19. hmm... honestly i don't really know. i wish my art was better of course, i think everyone thinks that about their art, but i can't really think of something in paticular that i really want to improve on.

weirdest (and scariest) afternoon:

1. my mom left for doctor's appointment
2. the garage door started opening and closing repeatedly a few minutes after
3. the flipping house started beeping at me (???)

and it was like that for around the next 30 minutes, i locked all of the doors just in case, texted my dad, my mom came home about 10 minutes ago. turns out the beeping was the smoke detector low on battery, no clue what's up with the garage tho.
