I've said it on many other platforms but not here, until now:

Black lives matter.

Go donate to a community bail fund/racial justice related organizations if you can! Support Black businesses! sign a petition! just be a good person and support others if you can't do anything else!

I did say it in a project, but something this vital is worth a wall post too.

[But infa, what else have you done? I have posted vital resources in many of my social media channels and my community discord, donated, directed someone to resources local to them, and attempted to bring the concepts of social justice into something that is inherently political already - the virtual realm. it's awfully privileged to say "why do I have to worry about this?" when some people don't have the option to not worry. me bringing the small amount of awareness that I have is NOT offensive or threatening your good time]

It drives me nuts when people want to start small minecraft communities to make money attract a dedicated community, but they really aren't cared for and are mostly just yes-men to the owner. In such an environment players tend to be really competitive and mean to each other and I guess it makes for an environment that fuels (often EULA-breaking) donations, but it's sad and unfulfilling for me to actually play such servers. Usually players are mean to me and pretty inflexible in their views (if not xenophobic of some or other group). Just... blarg...

I've noticed that with servers made by a particular user on PMC. I won't name names, but those like this person often will promote their 'friends' as moderators, and then kick you off the server if you try to stand up to the moderators' cruel behaviour. It's brutal and idiotic.

for all the young adults wanting to start MC servers and run them "well": are you ready to make nuanced decisions regarding your rules? Are you willing to quell quarrels between children and adults who act like them? Or do you want an "Anarchy" server?

Honestly I have no qualms about people getting personal, as the viewer you can either move on or be supportive depending on the situation. I'd like to think we have it in us to be supportive.
