Minecraft/Servers New Server Ideas?

But for a serious post.

Prsion:
- The servers are repetitive game play and there alot of these around.. They are quiet limited, They were okay when they first came out, But got boring fast.

Factions/OP Factions:
- Seriously people are still considering making this type of server? Its heavily overused to the point its not even funny, But the reason they are so common is they take little to no time to set up and require no real work.

MiniGames
- Well Thats also pretty overused. And Personally the servers that Ive seen are all pay2win and the default rank always gets a chat with no prefix and a hard to read colour. This kind of server should die out completely, it is the main ruiner of Minecraft.

Vanilla Survival
- Do you mean with or without plugins? Would it have towny or something like that? Either way its the best out of the options. I personally don't play vanilla anymore cause Ive moved on to modded (not plugins, real mods).

My Idea:
- I haven't got many ideas to give though, well the ideas I use aren't exactly popular on here as everyone seems to use Vanilla. I Could suggest doing a modpack server or something, or Something that not many people do... (So Nothing to do with factions)

Well To be fair the latest updates weren't really updates.. Just random addons/game breakers from mojang. 1.7.10 is where its at for mods. Newest isnt always better you know.

Oh So sad cause 1.9 isn't popular for modding.. Oh and one more thing.. 1.7.10 can actually run.. you know.. properly.

EDIT: you clearly don't even know what your talking about cause on your profile you even ad-mint when it comes to modding you have no Idea what your doing... So No need to rant towards me now.

If that is the case, Then its updated to the best version anyway, 1.7.10 is great for modding and will remain that way for a good while.

Anyway there isn't any for me anymore. Traincraft was the only mod I was missing but it finally updated to 1.7.10 (and was a great update).

Since Ren3DM already stated Good facts so I arent gonna go into much detail since theres no Need. So Ill Just point out what I felt is needed.

When will people understand, a "simple" gamerule will not make it better. Besides the fact that cooldowns are attributes, a gamerule will divide the community even more, make it harder for new players to figure out the game, and unbalance the other aspects of combat, such as armor, golden apples, shields, axes, etc.


Again, How? If anything it will fix the community.... Alot of people also want this, It will Not "divide" anymore then what 1.9 did already.

Anything that isnt factions or Prison or Mini game Servers, I Would suggest staying with modded, you will get insanely bored on vanilla after playing them modpacks. Trust me.

A PVE Modded 1.7.10 Server is great fun.

Well If you like it that's fine, They just need a way to disable it via a gamerule to be more accepted for the most of us, Alot of people have said they would be happy with a way to turn it off.

But If you like the new system or not its not really more "Skill based", as its only a cooldown with new shields, its kinda annoying rather then "more challenging" to be honest.

I will like 1.9 PVP when there's a way to completely disable it. Most older players that have been playing for ages don't like this sudden new "system" that is mostly a plugin and mod breaker.

The 1.9 Combat update was a waste, The combat was fine... The game was about building.. I guess they are starting to design updates for the PVP servers.. PVP wont get you far... been able to build good or make mods etc will...

Thermos is a bit doggy, If you desperately want plugins (Which you would if you want to have it public) Then try using KCauldron. Not sure it will work tho, Dont use mods like Orespawn.

Survival... But not boring vanilla survival, Modded 1.7.10 FTW. Once you mod your game, you can never go back lol.
