I mean, Java has mods, and it's the OG version of Minecraft. Most YouTubers play the Java version and most well-known servers mainly are on Java.
On top of the Java account and all on it is a one-time 27 dollar purchase, no Minecoins, no Skin Packs, none of that, it's all a one-time purchase, and for the general public that's all they want.
I can see why people don't like Bedrock's Marketplace all too much but I think it's great that Microsoft is letting people make stuff for them for Minecraft and make a profit and perhaps a living off it which is something most people may not always think about whenever you see the purchase menu on the Marketplace. Plus Bedrock is cross-platform, so those who play on the Xbox can play with their friends on the computer and another friend can play on their phone, all in the same world.
