Past experience?
My experience is that I've been working as a moderator, and or an admin since around 2013, 2014 era. It has been a while since I've been apart of any server though, but I've been trying around lately, figuring which servers are good for me. This server happens to be one of those.


Qualifications outside of Minecraft for a leadership role?
I work at an amusement park, it requires a lot of leadership, and taking control to work with park guests, and other situations such as cleaning the park. I am also in a Marching Band, which takes a lot of leadership to get your section in the band working.

Do you believe that admins should have the right to take action without asking?
Depending on the situation, most definitely. If it's something that is iffy, I would ask an owner, but if I saw a pure grief happening, and or stealing/raiding (if it's allowed) I would get evidence real quick to make sure, and then do a ban/kick (or just getting into the inventory and taking the items back) without notifying the owner until afterwards.

Where is the line between being nice and spoiling the players?
Being nice is maybe helping them out if they have too many mobs on them, and may die. Maybe getting their stuff they lost back if they died in lava or something. (Maybe)

Spoiling is giving them a lot of items that they can use to survive, and build up with. Same with money, and other things to give them.

Are you anti-social?
What does this have to really do with anything? But I work at an amusement park that requires to be social, so i'm not anti-social.

Tell me about a staff member that you saw treating a player unfairly how would you fix the situation?
Take Video/screenshot evidence of the unfair treatment of said player, and report it to the owner with all screens and or video that I have on me with the situation.

What is your favourite mob and why?
My favourite mob is the wolf, it's a very fun, and capable mob, with plenty of potential!

What sets you apart from all the other applicants?
Nothing truly makes me different, I'm an old player, looking for some new servers to be apart of, and help out along the way.

Most of the servers I have worked on in the past have since vanished from existence, but my slightly old experience should detour anything that I can offer to you guys!

What Makes You Different From Other Applicants:
Nothing truly makes me different, I'm an old player, looking for some new servers to be apart of, and help out along the way.

Why Should We Accept You:
The reason why I believe you should choose me for the job, is because that even though I haven't worked a mod in a while, (Due to work, and servers vanishing) Is that I am willing to put in the time and effort to really make the server thrive, and feel as comfortable as possibly with the players! My job is almost like moderating a server. I answer questions, and keep it clean.

Why Do You Want To Be Staff:
I want to be staff, because I want to be apart of the community again, I wish to work on server like I have done in the past. It's something I love to do! Plus I can always be of extra help with building, I'm a two in one package pretty much! Though my building skills are the hugely greatest, I can still get some stuff done if you need me too!

Have You Ever Been Banned/Muted/TempBanned: Most of my bans were mainly something simple, like swearing for example. It's mainly the only reason I've ever been banned. (Of course, I do follow rules like that a ton more now)

Why do you want to be admin?:
I wanted to be an admin, because I haven't actually been one in a while, that doesn't mean I'm needy for the position. I just love to help and run servers! Being just a player has gotten boring over time, with me being sort of an old timer with administration and moderating, since I haven't actually really worked anything since 2013.

That doesn't mean I have no more experience, or will be bad, I still have managed a few server for short periods of time before they closed, and or I left because of bad management.

Skills:
Beyond administration skills, I am also an average to above average builder. I'm not perfect at building, I only do a handful of builds, small things, and or sometimes one or two large things, Mainly portal spawns if anything. Other than that. I'm pretty average for my building skills.

Explain a little about yourself:
I am a 16 year old guy from Ohio, that loves to play Minecraft, and has played Minecraft since the 1.2.5 update (I joined the day of the update) It's one of the best things I've done! Since that has happened, I have worked as a player, Moderator, Admin, even Owner for one server that went away because of a rude co-owner I teamed up with. I want to put that server up again soon, but I'm giving my self time before even thinking about doing such a thing!

5. Maturity: I work at an amusement park, as a guidance worker/sweeper. With this, comes a lot of maturity with you, and towards other people. I'd say at least a 9, no one is perfect. I certainly am not either.

Most of the servers I have worked on in the past have since vanished from existence. Despite this though, I have worked as both a moderator, and an admin. I would say I love working as an Admin more, not just for power reasons, but working as an Admin is highly fun for me!

Before August happens I can be fairly active depending on the day. I work at an amusement park and May be gone from 9AM until 3:30PM or 3:30PM until midnight. It's fairly debatable. I will be willing to give my schedule as I get it to let you know.

Other than work, I am extremely active, I am willing to be on when others are not if it's needed, and can truly watch out for the rule breaking that goes on around the server.

After August is band time. (Marching Band) Which means my schedule becomes a bit more limited, but I can still find time each day to work on the server, and have time to even play on it too!

Marching band and my job both end in/around November, so after November is where I truly become active (Apart from school)

Have you ever been banned? :
Only a few times. But these few times were so long ago, that I don't even remember the reasons for why I was banned.

Why do you want to be part of the RisingMC community, and what can you contribute that sets you apart from the other applicants? :

Tell me about a time when you saw a staff member mistreating another player, and how you would fix the situation:
I simply took a screenshot of the abuse, sent it to the owner, and that was that. No if, ands, or buts about it. I simply went with it, without telling the staff member to stop or anything.

If someone aggressively spams and annoys the heck out of everyone, but claims it was just his brother who took his keyboard, what do you do? :
I would give a very stern warning. The next time that It would happen, would be the time I will kick the player off the server, or a small ban. (one to two days)

How many servers have you been mod on in the past?: I'd say at least 6 to 7, but don't let that number bring you down. I am picky when it comes to being staff on a server. Usually I need fair owners.

How many servers are you currently mod on?: None, Due to a 2 year inactivity on Minecraft. But I still have what it takes.

What do you believe makes a great server?: Fair owners, and staff, along with correct rule placement, and a unique server idea.

Why should you get a mod position rather than someone else?: Would like to get back into the community once again, sounds like you know what you're doing, so I wanted this to be a good starting point on a server. I've mainly been building on other servers so if you need a spawn. You can work it out with me.

What can you do as a moderator to help the server?: Mainly just stay on a lot, I can be fairly active but I will have days of inactivity due to lack of time, and or, being very busy.

16 year old guy, living in Ohio. Mainly designing roller coasters, but when I'm in the mood I play minecraft as well. sometimes I may not be on, sometimes I am, but I will be active enough to help out with the server.

Why are you applying?:
I have he free time needed, but sometimes I just won't get ideas, but that's nothing to be concerned with, Usually when I get a project. I can finish it, or redo and finish. Most of the time I will finish the project, unless I just can't figure it out.

Why should you be accepted?:
Want to be accepted because I would like to have something to do, and just have some fun in the community again!

Are you currently staff on any other servers: Not that I am currently aware of. If I am, I don't really remember their names anymore.

Have you been staff on servers in the past (please specify): Yes I have. Although I don't have the names of those servers anymore, I have been staff. Mainly an Admin to Builder range, but I've been Admin a few times, and I know what I am doing when it comes to the admin position.

How much time per day can you dedicate to Vortex United: Per day would be 3 to 6 hours after school.

Why do you want to be staff (3 sentences at the least): I want to be staff, because I know how to work as an admin. I've been on plenty of servers in the past where the admins are amazing, and I've learned off of them to become an admin my self, and I've done it well. I do not abuse the powers that are given as an admin, and I love to play with people on a server!

What can you bring to the team(2 sentences at the least): I can bring in extra security. That sounds a little dumb, but I truly do have a lot of free time, and I am willing to use all of it to be on when no one else is, for those moments on a server where there is no staff on a teams of hackers, and griefers destroy the spawns and work of other people.
