  tried all of those (other than different device as this is the play computer) as well as using private browsing windows but no luck
  [​my suspicion is my privacy settings (on which I'm unwilling to compromise)]
  
  Do you mind my asking what browser you're using? [​Firefox here, although Palemoon gave the same issue]

  Maybe try these:
  -restart your device
  -log out and log back in
  -try using a different device
  -refresh the website
