i once took care of a kitten, it was probably barelty a week old when i found it at my friends farm under some derelict machinery. i set the kitten where the mother cat could sometimes be found. but she never showed up and 2 days after setting the kitten to where her mother could find her. when i saw the kitten again after 2 days of no feeding or care in the hot summer sun. i decided to take the matter into my own hands. my friend who lived on that farm said i could take care of the kitten as long as i texted him updates on how it was doing. it took me and another person to make sure she was well cared for. and of all other living beings my dog would make sure that she was cleaned amongst doing other more grotesque tasks. today that kitten is a goofy adult cat. best of luck to you assuming it is as young as this one was. oh yeah and the kitten's name is Maya, she is an all black cat that has been a blessing and nothing like a curse as some people say black cats are.
