We will be featuring some of these creations at the end of this week (Sun, Apr 28). Please do reply to this wallpost or mention 00O3 in the description so we can find it!

Of course, the term "lesbian" isn't and shouldn't be restricted to a certain gender or presentation! We wish a lovely lesbian visibility week to all those who want to identify with this term! :)

Today is International Asexuality Day!

It's celebrated every year on April 6th.
This is actually its 3rd year of being celebrated, as it was recognised in 2021

Today is about awareness and visibility of asexuality and the asexual spectrum.

Here are some definitions for common asexual identities and terms:
- Asexual: feeling little to no sexual attraction to other people. This encompasses all asexual spectrum identities (usually shortened to a-spec)
- Ace: a shortening of asexual
- Demisexual: Under the A-spec umbrella, and is where an emotional connection is needed before feeling sexual attraction
- Graysexual: Where a person may rarely-occasionally feel sexual attraction
- Split-attraction model: Where the different types of attraction (e.g. romantic, platonic, sexual, etc.) are separated into different labels. For example, a bi-romantic asexual will likely have romantic attraction to multiple genders, but have little to no sexual attraction.
- Aromantic: The romantic attraction counterpart to asexuality. It is defined by having little to no romantic attraction, and is also an umbrella label for all aromantic-spectrum identities (usually shortened to aro-spec or also a-spec). This isn't under the asexual umbrella, but is closely related.
- Aro: a shortening of aromantic. Aroace is the shortened version of aromantic asexual.
- Aplatonic: : The platonic attraction counterpart to asexuality. It is defined by having little to no platonic attraction, and is also an umbrella label for all aplatonic-spectrum identities (usually shortened to apl-spec or also a-spec). This isn't under the asexual umbrella, but is closely related. This is a little known identity that rarely gets representation.
