A dog is an extinct carnivorous reptile that belonged to the order Mammalia. Complete fossils of dogs were found alongside fossils of humans, suggesting that they primarily hunted humans. Like rats, whose fossils were discovered with furry integument, dogs may had have fur all over their bodies.
