Curious with her experiments, Arianwyn kept trying to understand better the power of Akutori. She used him again, and felt a terrible wave of darkness and distress flow through her entire body.

She thought back of Emmin, her best friend. She thought of the loss that meant and felt helpless. She couldn't do anything... And that time she died... She chose it, but she caused such pain and suffering to those who loved her... She did awful things in her past, out of anger and impatience. She remembered that time she and Emmin were tortured. Her friend, crying and bleeding on the floor, as she, Arianwyn, couldn't do a single thing... She felt...

"Ugh !" She said, looking at the bird. "Really, that magic of yours is interesting, but the pain and memories... I could do without it."

An awful, guttural groan was heard. It sounded like a dying person's last breath, a lot more loud and long. Arianwyn, startled, turned back and saw the blood-dripping creature that floated behind her.

"Kyaaaah !" She screamed. "What the-"

The creature floated to her and smiled, in a disgusting sight.

At the vision of that smile, Arianwyn felt filled with undescriptible sadness. She almost wanted to hurt herself for being such an awful person.

She was crushed under the weight of the spirit.
