Serving as an everpresent danger to all who reside in the Taiga biome's serene, nature-filled landscape, the Pillager Tracker is widely considered to be the more deadly of the two Illager arbalists.
The reason behind such a wild claim is that whereas the standard Pillager tries to overwhelm his prey, the Tracker favours acts of stealth and trickery to capture and eventually kill their prey. They also make a habit of keeping the creature's body from being bristled with arrows, preventing it from being deemed 'inedible'.
It has been said by many a grey-faced Illager, that the Tracker possesses not only a hunters patience but matching resilience as well. Abilities such as these allow them to stay out in the wilderness for days at a time, braving any conditions, while surviving it all on a diet of nothing but sweet berries and river water.
Once they eventually locate new hapless prey, they will camouflage themselves in the nearby foliage, waiting for the perfect time to strike. All it takes then is a single arrow from the Trackers upgraded crossbow to finish the job, allowing for them to take their new game back to the lodge, where it will be either get eaten or mounted on a wall.
