This mod changes the Bedrock Skeleton AI to be better. It does this by making skeletons charge at you with bows, wield stone swords when close, and making them climb! Skeletons in Bedrock are boring, because they just stand there and shoot. This is great for Dark Souls maps! This mod will make the experience of fighting a skeleton more fun. The best part is experimental is not required for this mod! Here's the difference between a skeleton wielding a bow and a skeleton wielding a sword.

When a skeleton is wielding a bow:

- Will slow down
- Can climb
- Shoot arrows at the player every 3 seconds; 1-2 seconds when close
- Can occasionally slow down when chasing or stop moving until player gets too close, similar to Dark Souls
- Will switch to stone sword at any time when the player is too close
- Can mount any nearby skeleton horses at any time
- Sometimes, instead of switching to a sword, it will rapidly fire at you every second.
- Will shoot arrows at nearest player instead of the player who attacked it first

Skeletons holding a bow now move when attacking. Sadly, it doesn't strafe, because it isn't possible in Bedrock.

When a skeleton is wielding a sword:

- Will speed up
- Can climb
- Can occasionally slow down when chasing a player, similar to Dark Souls
- Will melee attack the player
- Will switch to bow at any time when too far from the player
- When a skeleton hits a player, the player gets effected with weakness for 3 seconds
- They wield a stone sword!
- Can mount any nearby skeleton horses at any time
- Will attack nearest player instead of the player who attacked it first

Skeletons wielding a sword are more faster than when they are wielding a bow. Fighting them while they hold a sword is similar to fighting a Vanilla Wither Skeleton in a fortress.

Wither skeletons also have this code, with exceptions being:

- Shoot 2 arrows at the same time
- Have 24 health instead of 20
- Can become a stray in powder snow
- Will occasionally be tall

Skeletons from a skeleton horse trap will only have a bow. This will not count for skeletons that just mounted a skeleton horse. They also to appear to have no bow, even though they still shoot arrows at you. Guess we should call it throwing! d:

Optional Resource Pack:

This just makes skeletons, wither skeletons, and strays look better. It is optional and is not required for the mod to work and vice versa. It also changes bone and bone block textures.

I made the texture!

Frozen Stray by MFa_play

Used for stray overlay.

frozen skeleton by Froky

Used for stray. I added red eyes, of course.

I made the bone, bone block, and wither skeleton textures.

Skulls will not have red eyes and wither skulls will not appear to be charged.

This mod will make skeletons more smarter and fun to fight! Strays will remain unchanged in this mod and will only carry a bow. When you turn on the mod, it might say that the pack is missing dependencies. Ignore it and turn the mod on. If you find any bugs, please report it in the comments! Have fun with the mod!
