Manage your coordinates like a pro with this datapack!
The concept is simple. Hold a compass to see your saved coordinates appear in chat.
The chat menu also contains help topics in case something isn't clear.
Set/unlock your coordinates in certain slots, see and face them whenever you want.
Setting/unlocking coordinates costs 1 compass item if you're in survival, facing a saved coordinate is free.
Admins can run commands starting with "/function bertiecrafter:tp/cm_" to teleport to the coordinates in the indicated slot.
Special Slots
- Death: Automatically saves your last death location, which needs to be unlocked before being able to see and face the location.
- Home: Automatically saves your last sleeping location, which needs to be unlocked (if changed) before being able to see and face the location.
- End Portal: Press set before entering an end portal to save it's location. Used during rerouting, see the expandable spoiler below.
- Input: Press set to allow inputting your own coordinates, without being at that position. Input coordinates by clicking a number in chat.
Normal Slots
Besides 4 special slots, you get 5 extra normal slots. You can save your current location to them whenever you want.
Dimensions & Rerouting
Each slot also records the dimension of the coordinates.
For a cross-dimension journey, the face direction will be rerouted, see the table for which coordinates you're rerouted to.
Destination | ||||
Nether | Overworld | End | ||
Source | Nether | Coordinates | Coordinates / 8 | Coordinates of overworld end portal / 8 |
Overworld | Coordinates * 8 | Coordinates | Coordinates of overworld end portal | |
End | End portal in end | End portal in end | Saved Coordinates |
Menu Customisation
- If the icons don't render properly, try going to Options > Language > Force Unicode Font: ON. If that doesn't work, you can rename coordsmaster\data\bertiecrafter\functions\cm_showmenu_text to cm_showmenu. You'll have to delete or rename the already existing file. This replaces the menu icons with simple text.
- You can hide certain functionality by going to that same file (cm_showmenu) and adding hashtags in front of any line you want to hide.
- Contains 36 function files.
- Over 37 000 characters of minecraft commands
- Around 45 commands to rotate the player towards a set of coordinates

I encountered a bug! What do I do now?
I test all my creations, but bugs happen no matter how long you test something. Whenever someone experiences a bug, I do my best to fix the issue. You can help me by providing any useful information. You can never give me enough information, but please send it in a DM instead of placing it in the comments. You can still place a one-liner in the comments stating the issue to make the community aware, but that alone isn't enough to help me fix the issue.
- Checklist: Are you using the right version? Did you do /reload after dropping the datapack in? After /reload, does the datapack show up green in /datapack list?
- What is the issue? Does the datapack not seem to be working at all or is there a specific feature you are having issues with?
- What happened? Please give me all the steps needed to reproduce the issue. The faster I can experience it, the faster I can solve it.
- What did you expect to happen instead? This helps me understand your point of view and determine if the issue described is actually the issue I need to fix. The bug you are experiencing could just be a side effect of something else that doesn't behave as expected.
Let me know what to create next in the comments below!

Non-Unicode Menu : by Bertiecrafter 10/25/2019 4:56:46 pmOct 25th, 2019
Added the option to use a non-unicode, text only menu. Some users might experience the icons not rendering correctly.
Also, I changed the format of the datapack. You can now just drop the .zip in without unzipping.

Also, it's not really possible to get text input from players, without using already existing ways of text input (signs/books/naming items), soooo it would most likely not be any better than just using a book and quill.
I don't understand the choice of [ . . ] for set and [ | | ] (probably not actually the right characters) for set and face coordinates; why not just have [set] and [face]?
EDIT: just noticed the screenshots have an anchor and sun symbol for these, any idea why I'm not seeing those? Maybe add a configure to just use [set] and [face] for compatibility?
Also could you add config options to allow us to individually disable the special slots? in particular i'd like to disable death coords.
Finally, if at all possible it would be pretty cool if we could name the slots and if we could configure the number of normal slots or even add/remove normal slots on the fly.
Regardless, thanks for the great datapack, I'll be putting it on my server!
The slots are hardcoded and have been repeated by hand. This means that you can't easily add/remove slots on the fly.
