Hello!

This is my first time posting on PMC and my first addon to Minecraft bedrock, it took about 6 days to complete so I hope you enjoy!

What was used to make this?

I used Bridge for help with .json coding and rotation components, Block-Bench for visuals and block creation, and Visual Studio Code for editing .json files.

Does this work like Optifine or Fabric?

No, Unfortunately. due bedrock limitations, making the glass act like how it would in Optifine or Fabric would take a very long time and most people don't have the patience to make it for bedrock edition. instead they are their own blocks

How do I obtain the blocks?

All of the glass blocks can be crafted by putting a piece of glass in a stone cutter. You should understand what you're getting from the name but just in case you need some help here are some definitions for the glass names,

Border: A border piece. Relates to an edge of the glass (top, bottom, left, and right, borders). A combination of these pieces can also be crafted.
Corner: A corner piece. Relates to a small pixel at a corner of the glass, a border + corner glass piece can also be crafted.
Open: An open piece. relates to a side that isn't bordered, open means that the glass has every border EXCEPT for the described side.

If you've accidentally crafted the wrong glass type, you can craft it back into regular glass. Keep in mind that once placed you need silk touch to get the glass back

How do I get the glass placed?

once you place the block down the border/corner/open piece should be facing you. certain sides won't be seen because the glass allows other blocks to pass through meaning that you can see other pieces through other glass pieces.

How do I get the mod to work?

your first step should be to download the add-on and activate the pack, be warned that the Holiday creator features experiment needs to be enabled in order for the glass to appear. the glass can be obtained through the creative inventory (under the glass item group), by simply searching for it, or by using a stone cutter.

under the media tab, I have provided Examples on how the glass looks like in-game

Disclaimers.

This DOES NOT include stained or tinted glass nor do I have any plans to include them within this mod or any others.
Due to how the stonecutter doesn't display the item's names on the left side, you will have to cycle through them in order to find the one you need.
I have tested this mod several times over, but just in case there happens to be any bugs I'm unaware of, I will leave this 90% completed until 30 days of receiving no feedback of the mod.
If you have questions or found a bug, Please contact me on Discord (fihae) or through the comments and provide an accurate description of what's happened.
