this is a fairly easy mod to make,heres some code for the obsidian chestplate
ModLoader.addRecipe( new mod_YourMod.ObsidanChestPlate, 1) new Object [] { "O O", "OOO", "OOO", Character.valueOf('O'), block.Obsidian,});

im not so sure block.Obsidian will work it might be Block.obsidian or something else,mojang names there stuff wildly.
also what are the durabilities? or did u even got there?

mate not gonna get on your ass about it, but this is so unoriginal. Don't say I'm jealous because I've made a lapiz tools and armor mod myself, but it was my first mod. At least try to be original. And before I get this comment deleted why the foop is yogscast in the tags?
