nMinecraft currently distributes ores such as coal, gold, diamond, iron,
netc. in a random but predictable pattern. There's always a certain
nchance of getting each ore no matter how far from spawn you have
ntraveled. In the real world, locations become way more valuable if they
nare rich in resources. I've programmed a way for minecraft to spread out
n the ores according to a perlin noise function. I've hooked the ores
ninto the same system that creates the randomized infinite landscape. If
nyou choose to, you can plump up the resources by changing the property
nfile that is automatically generated in "(mincraft)modsDJoslin"
