Wizarding World Of Harry Potter
for Forge 1.18.2/1.19.x
Play with spells and fight against the Evil!
This mod contains 25 spell, 5 mobs and others from the Wizarding World.
Press the B key to switch between the normal and battle stance.
You can do this only while holding the Apprentice Wand
Open your Spellbook by pressing the H button.
You can drag and drop the spells from the spell book to the new hotbar that appears in the battle stance.
Mobs:
- Troll
- Dementor
- Death Eater (2 variant)
- Acromantula
- Inferius
To see the recipes and more Look at the images tab!
3 new stuctures can be found in the world (these are not from harry potter).
These were just made to make some of spawn in these.
Broomsticks can be used to fly around (if you want to use these on server you have to enable flying in the server settings)
they can be renamed
There is a simple leveling system for the spells.
Level up for a spell costs experience level.
You can't use spells that are lvl 0 and you can't drag them out to your hotbar.
When leveling up a spell their damage will increase and their cooldown will decrease.
The way these are calculated will change in later updates.
Common config for biome settings can be found in your config folder.
If you want a mob to spawn in another mods biome.
You have to change the biome_name line:
For example to:
biome_name = "modid:name_of_the_biome"
To let it spawn in more biomes you have to put a comma (,) between the biome names like this:
biome_name = "modid:name_of_the_biome,minecraft:desert"
In 1.19 the config for spawn settings was replaced with biome tag and biome modifier json files.
These can be found under the data folder in the jar.
