I started this around half a year ago, I've been working on it off and on. It started as a generic auto generated village which I started adding some of my own buildings to. The original village has been completely transformed into something unrecognizable. There are some original buildings that I kept which I altered a bit, most of the original buildings where removed though. (I really wish I made screenshots of the village before I started working on it.) I used world edit to re arrange buildings and have widened the streets multiple times to. A big focus on the map was the layout, you'll notice all the buildings are in city blocks. There are alley ways, courtyards, and some buildings between the city blocks, many buildings have there own back yard. I think this approach has made the map more complex and interesting to explore. Every building has it's own unique design, I've tried to keep a consistent style though. Obviously the city is far from something resembling a complete state, I don't know how much bigger I'll make it but I may go as far as adding a city wall, a palace, arenas, city gardens, and even a river with a harbor area. Sky's the limit. We'll just have to see, you can see the markings for future city blocks which will be developed hopefully soon depending on how productive I am.
