WIP! I have been messing around with World Painter to create super-duper large mountains on this island.
I would like to make a Scotish style castle on it...but yea I'm still working on getting better at creating landscape. It's harder than it looks! There are just so many options and small details to think about when recreating nature.
I was wondering if anyone has any advice wether I can create boulders and rocks using World Painter, especially near the shores. I may just have to make it manually in-game using world edit...which is no big deal but it would be cool to know how to make boulders easier. Perhaps I can create a custom object layer with boulders?! idk!!
ALSO I JUST HAD A GREAT IDEA!! for the cliffs I can create layers of different rocks using the "at or above" options...holy moly it really helps the brain get rolling by writing down ideas.
ANYWAY,
The render was taken with Chunky with a parallel camera angle. I will make this map available for free download when it is finished!
