Boeing B-29 Superfortress

The B-29 Superfortress is a four-engined Heavy Bomber designed by Boeing. It was used During the Second World War and the Korean War.


The First combat Debut was in June 5 1944, launched from India to bomb Japan-occupied Thailand, Five were lost not to enemy fire, due to crash landing.

The Silverplate version can drop atomic bombs. No gun turrets except for the Tail.

Some B-29s landed in Russia after their bombing run over Japan, only the crew returned back to U.S but the planes never returned back to their owners. The Russians then take apart the B-29s and then Reverse-engineered into the Tupolev Tu-4.
