There have been several mods that allowed to animate/move objects in MC, dunno if any of them is still updated. Did not played MC for few years now myself, so my info might be outdated :/
But who wants, check for Metaworlds mod, or Haribote AIrcraft mod, and one more but can't remember it;s name already :)
Oh and in latest MC patches we already can create seemigly animated objects/blocks with commands.

Nowadays our MC possibilities are great :)
