Introduction

Inspired by the demigod camp in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Camp Half-blood serves as
a safe haven for all children of the gods from Greek mythology, such as Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, and many more. It is
hidden to mortals by disguising itself as a strawberry farm, but within its borders resides a summer camp built to train
and protect the Greek demigods.

Led by Chiron and Dionysus as its Camp Directors, campers can participate in a plethora of activities, such as forging,
sword-fighting, archery, arts and crafts, and capture-the-flag. Campers live in cabins that correspond with their godly
parent, and train to survive in a world of gods, monsters, and other mythical creatures.

About the Build

The 1200x1200 base terrain was constructed using world-painter, with parts being terraformed with worldedit and by hand by a team
of dedicated builders. The map closely resembles its counterpart in the books, with iconic locations such as the campfire,
Thalia's Pine, canoe lake, the big house, and more. Players can relive the books with a visual picture of the camp in Minecraft.

Each building was carefully designed with its own personality and has a detailed interior—some builds even have custom-
textured blocks that you can see with our in-server resource pack.

The project started at the start of 2021 and is very close to completion, though fully functional and open to be explored. Players
can roleplay with original characters or fight in PvP or PvE within our dungeon, the Myrmeke's Lair. Players can purchase custom
items with in-game currency (drachmas) or find rare weapons and armour in loot chests scattered around the map.

You are able to access the map on our server (IP above). We do not have plans to release it as a downloadable build.
