The Church of St. Gustaf of Redhall
The Church of St. Gustaf overlooks the southern docks and wharves of the City of Redhall. Situated above the town's lake, the Church has long been a place of respite for the town's many rivermen, fishers, and stevedores. St. Gustaf is himself said to be a fisherman, turned to the life of the clergy, who, with his prayers, aided the town in its hour of need against a horde of the unliving. While this legend has cemented the Church and St. Gustaf as pillars of the local community, the Church continues to serve the souls of Redhall through the sermons of Father Reinhardt and their bodies through the alms giving its parishioners perform.
The church is of simple construction. Its sanctuary contains pews, an altar, a podium for the priest, and the tomb of St. Gustaf. Adjoining the sanctuary is a tall tower in which a bell could be installed. The surrounding grounds are covered mostly by the town's graveyard, and a mausoleum holds other secrets to the church's rear.
