Ok last, update of the completed undercoated build. My decorators are not the fastest, however they do amazing jobs, so I can't complain! however, this can/will take months!

So with this in mind I am going to post the shell of the build up for downloading, this is completely the building not the decorations that we will at some point add in for a second download, I just don't know when...so please don't hold your breath!




For now we will call this complete. I think I found all the errors but if you find one with the map let me know so I can update it

Anyhow I hope you enjoyed watching me & my son build this piece of art work Feel free to use this on your servers personal use or just whatever all I ask is that I am given credit along the way for the build. If possible toss a link back to here so others can also enjoy this <3


*Please note: This does have fire next to logs, if you do not have firespred off you may loose parts of the structure!
Also I have found a few very minor errors with the map, I will update them with the fully decorated map. Or sooner if I have time 1.9 is keeping me pretty busy with bug repairs!

So this is done for the most part, there may be a few minor tweaks needed to be done tot he map but overall its not too bad. I am all of a sudden swamped :< So super busy but I will try and get to cleaning up the little things when I have time. Anyhow I hope you enjoyed following along with this build! I know I enjoyed talking to you guys as I went through the building process! Enjoy the map!

I know were still working here and there, I wish I could find a decent recording program for videos :< Id upload short videos for better views <3 but TodieOdie people like you make building fun for me loving feed back from you thanks man!

Thank you so much for sharing the process with us! ^_^ I enjoyed it. This looks amazing!

I wish my family was into PvP so I could put this on the family server, but alas they don't seem to enjoy PvP much at all. *sigh* It's so lovely though. I would love to find a use for it.

the inside of the wall felt un finished i am playing with the rest of that area this morning <3 hopefully itll come out good i have it feeling less like the back of a building (unfinished) and more solid now... ill post some new photos here in an hour or two for you to see that ive been tinkering with it! :)

your absolutely right the sandstone is the issue! I have started highlighting his face and body with some stone and am slowly working it into his body... 

I enjoy your feedback btw, I encourage it! Thats part of the reason i post as i build. <3 ty!

Wow the addition of the gray to the dragons have made a huge difference already! I'm loving it how it's turning out. <3

I don't know about the outside ring though. I think I understand what you mean by it looking like an inside of a wall... do you mean as in it's unfinished or still under construction? The floor there still feels that way too, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. I really suck at walls. Mine always look so plain or just flat out weird. =/

However, with that said, comparing it to the rest of the Colosseum that part is very "quiet" if that makes sense. Everything else is busy and has stuff going on. That part seems like it doesn't have much of anything happening with either the walls or the floor. So when you look at it, there really isn't much to look at compared to the rest. I guess that's why it doesn't feel right?

This is really starting to look fantastic! I'm really liking the entrance. I've noticed your comment on the image about the dragons blending in. Maybe trying a different color for their body? Not sure what color you should pick, but having it mostly the same color as the building I think is the reason it blends in. You probably knew that though. >.<

I'm not here to tell you what you should or shouldn't be doing. I'm actually here to learn. I don't consider myself a builder. Any observations I make and share are simply just me trying to process what you guys are doing and why. So here I'm just trying to figure out why you are unsatisfied with the entryway at the moment and all I can think of is color choice for the dragon body.
