"Should you shield the canyons from the windstorms you would never see the true beauty of their carvings"
Coyote Bluff is a canyoned and sheltered natrual bay - hidden from the deserts by stunning mesas and bluffs. Whilst it may look barren a simple stroll along the shoreline would prove otherwise, dry trees and plants thrive on the shoreline and in the flatter areas, and at night, above the gentle crackle of the beach fire, animals can be heard hunting, singing and living.
In some ways Coyote Bluff is the spirtual successor to Verdict's Trance, meaning that this is technically the first sequel to a terrain that I've done. I was inspired for the terraform by the landscapes of America's southern states, such as New Mexico and Texas. To further develop the style I'm experimenting with other materials and colours for the mesas, the pinnacle of the style for me would be doing a Badlands (national park in North Dakota) terrain, although that's still a while away - it's a hard terrain to create. Thanks as always for stopping by!
