Diamond Sword is an RPG adventure map containing 6 dungeons, and a large world to explore, inspired by the Legend of Zelda games. Your journey will take you through ice palaces, mysterious forests, secret pyramids, haunted graveyards, nether towers, and many other places on your quest to recover the legendary diamond sword and stop the evil wizard from spreading darkness across the lands. There are hidden villages and many secret places to discover.There is no endless wandering you will always know where to go next. All done in 1.8 and 1.8.7. It is one player only. Please leave a comment if you liked this map. I have spent over 800 hours making this map.

Play in version 1.8 - 1.8.9 Please note this map will not work in 1.9

For this map to work you need to have your render distance set on 11 or more

Updated some spawnpoints removed more clocks and pistons and added newer commands, it has removed some of the lag, and should run a bit smoother, will update the snow section on next update,but it will take some time..

Downloaded the map and spawned in a town. What are the coordinates to the spawn room?

Hey ash_bway, I don't know why that has happened, it should always spawn you either in the house or the start hub, depends what version you are playing, but if you are playing this 1.8 version, i would recommend playing the updated version of this(1.14.4) as it is way more advanced and doesn't have any bugs this version has, but your choice, here are the co-ordinates to both

This version 1.8 tp @p 1369 97 1797 starts in house

Other version 1.14.4 teleport @a 1341 62 1820 starts in hub

I got the Pickaxe and got secrets 1, 2, and 4. Where is the last one?

Hey DockingWater17, I am not 100% sure which is secret 4 without going into the map as it has been a while since, but I can tell you the 4 locations of the secrets.
1 is beside your start house..
2 is in the desert oasis behind and left of the pyramid..
3 is in swampy grove pass (seven holes in the ground) where all the fences are..
4 is also in swampy grove pass, near the spot that has a button that teleports you to the
small house in the sky, there are two ponds, look below the pond that is furthest from the
button out of the two, I hope that makes sense and helps, I also have updated this map to 1.14.4 which is a better version with better commands and builds, just thought I would mention it, because this 1.8 version could do with an update...

Thanks for the help. I found what I was missing. However, I did move on a bit and got the Diamond set from level 5. What is better, the Protection 2 set that you get from the secrets or the Diamond set?

I think they are pretty much the same, I noticed a lot of players who played this map on youtube years ago never bothered to find the four secrets so I added the diamond suit as an alternative so at least they had a set of armor that was good, but maybe the protection 2 set gives better protection, it just doesn't have as high armor bar rating.. So either set will protect you until you get to the last dungeon, in the last dungeon there is another set you will need to find to get through the dungeon...

Hi I have a question. Me and my friend are playing this map and we are stuck trying to get into the dungeon. We have the Unlit stick and when we try to get inside the wind pushes us and after a certain point it teleports us back when we first entered the door

Hey MarkusBoyo, I assume you are playing the updated version, you must of accidently posted your comment on this older version of the map, but no matter, I am sorry about the wind bug, I have been having some problems with the 1.14 version with two players, I did change the project page a while ago stating two player was buggy, and should only be played with one player, anyway if you use this command, you can remove the wind completely, then you can continue -
/fill 1604 63 1722 1606 63 1722 minecraft:air replace
-just paste this in chat and it will stop the wind, if you can still hear the wind for some reason, use this command as well- /stopsound @a voice m_38
This was originally a 1 player map, and I updated it to two players but since I did not have a second player to test the map out with, I had to set the commands the way I thought they would work, and for some players the commands work fine and for others they don't, I will look into it and update it when I get the chance

Thank you so much! We just finished the map and we both really enjoyed it! We were discussing and we both would love to see a some sort of sci-fi map from you! Not saying you absolutely should do it but just pitching an idea I guess! 😁

Glad you got to finish it and thanks for playing it, as for a sci-fi map, I have been thinking about making a small project for quite a while, and I already have a space world I built long ago that I could use, at the moment though, I am working on another adventure map, then I will probably look into it.
