I have a mod called single player commands installed and played this in survival mode. I thought it was a great map and worked well. Two criticisms though. First, if you have time make the map longer (install single player commands and change the gamemode before you upload) and second, think about how many levers you need as in survival you can mine them and pick them up again so perhaps reduce the number.
But nonetheless a diamond for you!!!

I hope someone will check out My 2 Map's. Where i worked over 7 and over 3 months on and they are not short but they have a length of 2 Hours. Good Map Mate, I diamonded you.

Not trolling or anything but.. it is VERY short, i did it in less than 3 minutes. Especially since it is in Creative.

Make it in creative, then switch it to survival. (In the next update, there will be andother mode, "adventure," that disables placing and breaking blocks, but the player can still interact with buttons and switches and mobs.)

If you're familiar with MCEdit, then there is an option in it to change the game mode of a world.
If you prefer NBTedit, then open your level.dat and change
GameType from 1 (Creative) to 0 (Survival.) I'm not quite sure about
hardcore; it might be GameType=2, but I've also heard that it's a
separate setting. (hardcore=1, perhaps?)
