The Hotel Vancouver (branded currently as the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver) is a luxury hotel located on West Georgia Street atBurrard Street, in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.It is the third establishment to be named Hotel Vancouver, its name and heritage dating all the way back to 1888. The current Hotel Vancouver opened its doors in 1939, and has remained in continuous operation ever since.The hotel is a Vancouver Heritage Building, which puts it under the city's legal protection.
