Hey everyone DoctorChosen back with my first map of 2021!




For those of you who are new, Welcome! I'm DoctorChosen I create multiplayer pvp/adventure maps for my friends and community to enjoy, If you follow my Instagram or have seen my maps such as Illager Island or Temple of the Lost Titan then you might be familiar with some of my work.


Crystal Avalanche is a 4-16 player hunger games arena created in a 250x250 region going up to sky limit and down to bedrock. The release date is January 29th. The trailer is up now to get hype and attention. Patron's get access to the map early of course! I just finished a full playtest day doing multiple free-for-alls + team runs and the map is ready for release!



There are 8 pods that have 8 selected spawn locations throughout the map. It can be played with up to 16 players (teams of 2, in each of the 8 pods. There are also about a dozen hidden chests with loot hidden throughout the map. The loot varies from food, to diamonds, or enchanted armor.

Reworked a bunch of the map in preparation for the DoctorChosen's new years tourney

- Updated & added more Chests
- Added Dripstone + texture pack (makes dripstone blue)
- Changed all Diorite to Calcite
- Made map look more appealing in the caves
- Updated Spawn Room
- Added More Animals
- Added Powdered Snow
- Removed Gravel
- Added Glow Lichen

Hi, so I would like to use thiss map with my friends for a fun time, but the downloads says 1.17.1 and 1.18.1 but the trailer states 1.16. Do I try both?

The trailer is outdated. The real updates are 1.17.1 & 1.18.1 There are two separate downloads for whichever update! Join the discord if you need any extra help :)

Hi, you're supposed to dig out of the snow. The map is meant to be played in Survival.

Hello.

Can't play it on a 1.16.5 paper spigot geysemc server.

I spawn in 144 90 128 and fall to my dead.

Algo getting these warning in the console.

Not sure, I just loaded it on in singleplayer + my realm and it worked fine. You should be able to set it to creative mode though. Spawn coordinates are: -6 112 -6 Let me know if you still have issues. Have you tried 1.16.4?
