The New Year's card "Nengajo" is a tradition in Japan.
We send greeting card to a relative and a friend for the first greetings of the New Year!
Anyway, We put a happy theme on a New Year's card.
It is the first sunrise of a new year and Mount Fuji, gold or silver decoration.
You must not forget it and a blessed animal called "干支(eto)"
It is the twelve zodiac signs (in Chinese astrology) and Each year has a symbolic animal.
The cycle is completed every twelfth year. This is the year of the Dog(犬＝戌年)
The twelve zodiac signs is very interesting culture. So,Check it if interested !
