Hey, here is the castle of Haut-Andlau, located in Alsace, in the commune of Andlau!
Perched on a granite bar, it was built between 1246 and 1264. It was sold as national property during the French revolution and its ruined state is due to a merchant who sold piece by piece the parts of the roof and the granite bricks. Consolidation works were then carried out in 1859 and in 1927, when the castle was classified as a historical monument.
In the 90's, the castle was in very bad condition and threatened to collapse. Fortunately, the association of the friends of Haut Andlau have been working on its preservation since 2000
It took me about 8 hours to reproduce everything in 1:1 scale (1 block = 1 meter)!

Il a été vendu comme bien national pendant la révolution française et son état de ruine est du à un commerçant qui vendit morceau par morceau les pièces de la toiture et des briques de granit. Des travaux de consolidation ont ensuite été effectués en 1859 et en 1927, date à laquelle le château a été classé comme monument historique.
Dans les années 90, le château était en très mauvais état et menaçait de s'effondrer. Heureusement, l'association des amis du Haut Andlau œuvrent à sa préservation depuis 2000
Il m'a fallut environ 8 heures pour tout reproduire en échelle 1:1 (1 block = 1 mètre)!
