*updated 7/20/18* (PE downloads at bottom)

Hello I haven been building this world for a very long time I assume I put around a 1000 hours in as 95% of this is hand built, I used a little spc back in 1.6 to build the cave top, I've used some fill/clone commands and a week ago I realized how mcedit works so I added a few extra things as the end game of this map is to actually be able to play it, other than this its all hand built I've spent meticulous hours trying to get every block as close to perfect as possible.

This map is the land of Heartfel at the moment it contains:

  • Heartfel Castle/Keep- a few secret rooms at the moment
  • Heartfel Port/Undercity
  • Underground Transit Stations - 4 in total, one to distant land, a 13 min cart ride
  • Pez Dispensing Boat Houses
  • Astral Tower- a wizard tower idea from another player I remodeled and re-textured based on a screen shot
  • Forest Watchtower
  • 3 Ships- 2 outside Heartfel- 1 Ghost ship
  • God Tree
  • and more...

The castle took me most of the time in this map as I spent a lot of time tinkering to figure out the best way to build and even what to build, the whole area I did build on didn't really exist when I started I remade the river, made the cave and formed the land to fit a castle of this size, I must of spent 5-10 hours before even building this on looking for good land to build and then when finding it forming it and "prepping" it for construction. The map has been being constructed in creative mode only but like I said I eventually want to play it. I did just put about 20-25 hours in the past 2 weeks though and I'm tired of building and don't know when I will pick it up again (this map has been around 2 years on and off), none of my friends seemed interested and I want at least some feedback so I decided to test it here.

Hope you guys enjoy please leave feed back.

This is a rather big map, and therefore a rather big download for a map, but its going to be a play map, sorry, but it is worth it.

This map works with 1.8 and later, i tried placing it back into a 1.7/1.6 version but the chunks kept getting messed up so i only used the most recent versions of minecraft.

ps. i added the flags after i uploaded, sorry, but that is all i did so i didnt want to re-upload it
ps. ive added pictures of when the castle was a work in progress

*update 9/10/21* (Alpha v.5 changes)

- Added new rail line (New Hartfel) to a area I plan on using when I actually play this map

- Added a bridge outside of Heartfel Castle

- Started work on Vault and Expanding the Undercity
- Fixed God Tree's trunk
- Plus many more tinkers that i cant remember
- Added WorldEdit to fix the chunk border mismatch due to different old versions conflicting
- Added a river connecting Heartfel Bay to the main ocean

*update 7/20/18* (the java files have been updated as well)

A friend asked me to play some mc the other day its been over a year for me so i jumped on he said we had to play the windows 10 edition though so i was skeptical at first but it runs amazingly compared to the java edition, after we were done for the night i launched Heartfel up saw i had done a decent amount and never updated this site sorry. After playing about 10-20 minutes back on the java edition i couldnt stand it, i spent a while looking for ways to convert maps and resource packs, after corrupting the map a few times i got it to work.

Heartfel for Windows 10 edition - https://www.dropbox.com/s/a8g9w7jalgdfnt0/Heartfel%20-%20Alpha%20v.2.mcworld?dl=0

- I never tried but it seems most sites just say to double click the .mcworld file to install, then just follow prompts.

Resource Pack for Win10 edition - https://www.dropbox.com/s/chr0cdz6wreob3l/Painterly-New%28win10--unzip-%29.zip?dl=0

- to install just unzip it and put the folder inside the "resource_packs" folder

The map seemed to be a near flawless conversion, the only thing that seemed to not convert was the armor i had on the stands (they are all over the keep and some of the more important buildings. As far as the resource pack it seemed to convert pretty well, some of the features from painterly pack didnt transfer but thats because theres some trickery going on, it seems the main thing that didnt convert was the pictures -- all of the textures transferred correctly though so im sold until rhodox updates painterly.
