This is the first time I've built a castle in a few years and I think it turned out fairly nice! The castle is home to the rulers of Hlafton, you'll notice that it is not heavily fortified as the land has known peace for a very long time so the castle has been able to relax its defenses quite a bit, the entrance into the lake is guarded by a massive bridge that ships cannot pass through so if an invasion were to happen there would be plenty of time for the people to set up proper defences.

The castle is divided up into many small sections. first, the main gate leads into another small gated area where supplies are checked of those going into and out of the castle, as well as block off attacked if they are able to make it inside the first gate. Then, that area leads into the main courtard that is an L shape, on one end being a stable and entrance to the great hall and the other being a blacksmith, entrance to the mess hall, and a back gate that leads down to the docks. The ramparts are rather clear to allow for quick movement along them, once on the walls, a soldier is able to reach and point of the castle rather quickly allowing for a small force to defend against a large army. Lastly, the build has a small vineyard attached to the docks entrance, as the King loves his wine and has a hobby of producing it himself.
