Quick presentation of the Khelton County project :
Khelton Island is a tiny fictional American Island, representative of the typical olds Westerns, dating back to 1866.
The project is intended to be a mostly desert/mesa region with buildings strongly reminiscent of the old Wild West style in all its splendour.
Geography of the project :

As for the builds, the island includes several towns and villages, such as Tumblerock -an important old mining town located in the south-east of the island-, Van Antlers -a tiny trading post in the west of the island-, Blackberry -a rich merchant town and center of Khelton's economy- or Armadilla -a very modest little town not far from Tumblerock- and others
In addition to the towns there are many buildings, including mines, a refinery, train stations, farms and isolated houses, etc.
(Fictional) History of the project :
Khelton Island was discovered by settler families in 1806.
The settlers, convinced by the tranquility of the area and the richness of the soil and lakes, full of the precious and coveted material of gold, decided to settle here.
The colony soon became a town, and as it attracted more and more settlers and prospectors, it was decided to give it the name Tumblerock, the first city of Khelton !
Today the mining business on the island has drastically declined and Tumblerock has become a haunt for all the local cowboys rather than the glorious mining town it once was, traces of that golden age such as the majestic brick town hall remain and show us that the town has not yet drawn its last breath.
Soon after the foundation of Tumblerock another city will emerge : Blackberry, originally a trading post (the only one of the island at the time) founded on an area particularly favorable for farming, Blackberry would soon become an significant part of the island.
Today Blackberry is the richest and largest city on the island, and is the administrative and economic heart of Khelton, it is one of the figures of the island after Tumblerock and features such places as the imposing town hall and the majestic post office square.
In any case, we are now in 1866, 60 years after the foundation of Tumblerock, and in the middle of the far west.
(IRL) History of the project :
The project started on a french server I was playing on, and as the server in question started to decline while I was more and more limited by it (as it was a semi-survival server) I decided to start again from the beginning, I was looking for (and found) the perfect ground to continue this almost 3 years adventure (in creative this time :I ) and here we are now !
So I'll try to leave a downloadable link for the map since someone asked if he could have one ;) although I won't promise anything else as my build processes can be restrictive to keep a downloadable link up to date.
Current status of the project :
- I have almost finished the town of Tumblerock, I just need the interiors of the houses (the shops have all been furnished) and the few builds around the town (ranch, train station, ...).
- Van Antlers is also almost finished, just like Tumblerock, few buildings around the town are missing.
- Armadilla has started to be built too, it will probably be the first completely finished city as it is only a few houses.
- Blackberry is next on the list, I decided to take the big one first, I've almost finished the whole town center and even started to furnish some shops for fun.
- Other small villages will also be built but for the moment I am concentrating on the 4 main ones
- I've started the railway tracks, however for the moment there are no roads between the cities and builds, I'm waiting to finish the most important ones to avoid ending up with a road in the middle of a mine haha
