This lake is really more of a crater but whatever we'll call it a lake for now. It has a small river that leads through a canyon and then stops, and a small island covered in pine trees in the middle. The deepest part of the lake is only 3 blocks deep so you don't need to worry about drowning that much.
JUST SO YOU KNOW
if you leave the area you will find the normal world, i disrecommend going into the normal world, as usual, but if you get bored of living as a hermit then you can leave.

this time i made a small chest filled with supplies so that you don't have to spend hours finding diamonds.
