This is my Minecraft Stadium (as part of my "Skysington Project" City series). I looked online for schematics for stadiums, but none of them quite had that "thing" I was looking for. I've built a few houses on here, but this is the first project of this magnitude that I have ever attempted, and took about 14 straight hours, uninterrupted.
So without further ado, introducing my [NFL] football stadium. This is a dome style, gigantic 4 level stadium. Only heaven knows how many people it seats, it has a full football field with space around it for the extra stuff to make it more football looking. It includes cutouts for skyboxes on both the east and west side of the stadium. Each level has a tunnel under the stadium seats that circumnavigates the entire stadium. The tunnels are wide, perfect for adding bathrooms and concession stands where you see fit. The stadium has an... err... interesting, "death star" sort of design on the outside (unintentional lol). I attribute the black outside to this look, and I can bet that if I change the color of the outside (or add variations at least) that is easily changed.
This is version 1.0 of this stadium, and I will continue to update as I add things that I feel are important. I uploaded it in this condition so that you all as the community can make this your own as you see fit. This is essentially the shell of the final product. You may want a scoreboard hanging from the dome ceiling, but if I put them in the corners, then you don't have such a choice. Feel free to use as you see fit, just please give the credit please, because this was no easy feat. All advice is welcomed happily.
Also, note that this is no small stadium. It's colossal, actually. I have a Macbook Pro Mid-2012 running Windows 8.1, specs to the tune of 4GB of Ram, a 250GB partition for W8.1, Intel 4000 HD Graphics, etc. YMMV if your specs don't match these. Loading chunks sometimes even caused a jitter or two. Loading the stadium from a schematic is probably going to be quite the task if your computer can't handle it.
Make sure whereever you place it, have plenty of room ;)
What's not done:
1. Stadium Lights
2. Scoreboard (Redstone operated?)
3. imperfections like mismatch colored blocks in places
4. Because the dome was the last thing built, snow accumulated from the game's schezophrenic weather system in the higher levels of the stadium (puts a whole new meaning on the term "nosebleed" section)
5. Stadium color
6. Concession stand
7. bathrooms
8. Field level tunnels where the team enters
9. Field Goal
10. You tell me!
Last note: If you want to change the color, select the ENTIRE stadium in Worldedit, type "//replace [block to be replaced] [block you wanna replace it with]" to make the change thorough.
Example, to change the color of the stadium seats: "//replace 35:14 35" with "35:14 being the id for red wool, and "35" being the color of white wool.
Enjoy!!!

I am really oversimplifying that process, it was hell!! but if I had to desribe my process in a paragraph, that's as close as it gets. The asthetics like step vs. seat elevation, skybox placings, etc. were easy parts, though.
